

These gooey and decadent raw choc orange squares are super easy to make and only require 5 ingredients! The recipe is dairy & refined sugar free, as well as packed full of fibre, protein and monounsaturated fats - making it a healthy sweet treat you don't need to feel guilty about!
Ingredients
200g dried pitted dates
1 orange, zested & juiced
1 cup raw cashew nuts
1/3 cup sultanas
2 Tablespoons organic cacao powder
Directions
Spray and line a 8 x 8 inch baking tray and set aside.
Place the dates into a small mixing bowl and pour in half of the orange juice. Set aside.
Place the cashews and remaining orange juice and zest into a food processor and blitz for 2-3 minutes, or until it forms a mashed up clump, remove and set aside.
Place the orange soaked dates and sultanas into the food processor and blitz for 1 minute, or until it forms a mashed up clump.
Add the cashew mix and cacao powder to the food processor and blitz until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the pre-prepared tray, spreading evenly. Place into the fridge for 1 hour OR freezer for 30 minutes to firm up a little.
Remove and cut into squares. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
